Italian downtempo deathcore crew Gravery is back with new material. Their latest EP, Purified in Blood, is set to drop on May 15.
This four-song EP follows their debut, Everything That Is Born Must Die. Expect aggressive pummeling and heavy vibes, as the band describes it as a “maelstrom of violent and aggressive pummel.”

Behind the EP
The new EP was written and produced by Gravery, with lyrics handled by Luca De Simone and the band. Recording, mixing, and mastering took place at Audiocore Studio in Fontevivo, Parma, Italy.

Formed in November 2023 in Northern Italy, Gravery quickly started writing tracks that tackle “uncomfortable topics such as the analysis of the destructive potential of the human mind.” Their sound aims for a “rough, direct and disturbing” feel.
Their debut EP, Everything That Is Born Must Die, was recorded in Autumn 2023 by Davide Billia, mixed by Steph “Orkid” Santi, and mastered by Chris Whited. It was released worldwide on August 9th, 2024, through Upstate Records/Bloodblast, and even hit #18 on the NACC Top 30 Heavy Chart USA.
And they didn’t slow down, dropping singles “My Own Graveyard” in December 2024 and “A Fetish For The Graves” in May 2025.
