Noosed Announce Brutal Crust/Sludge EP Misery

Ireland’s Noosed are back with a new EP, “Misery,” dropping May 15th, 2026. This release promises more of their ferocious crust punk, sludge, and hardcore blend, taking aim at the state of humanity.

Noosed has been around since 2019, consistently pouring out frustration over the current state of things. They see a world where truth is warped, hatred is common, and greed runs rampant. And they aren’t holding back. Their music is a raw reflection of that reality – grim, destructive, and bleak. But the band isn’t just complaining; they’re fighting back. As they put it: “humanity is noosed, but we are not yet hanged.” This new EP is their latest declaration of resistance.

Track Breakdown: A Manifest of Resistance

“Misery” kicks off with ‘This Country’, starting with heavy chords and a blunt statement: “I hate this fucking country.” From there, it rips into the crust punk fury of ‘Drag Them Out’ and the direct ‘Fuck The Church’ – a punch to hypocrisy with killer, instinctive drumming.

‘Fallout’ then shifts to a speaker-shaking sludge that hooks you in, pushing you to react. ‘Floating Coffins’ tackles the idiocy of the world with a fierce, cathartic attack. And the drumming keeps things moving into the snarling ‘Misery’. The EP closes with ‘No Return’, a devastatingly heavy track that confronts drug abuse and addiction. It’s a harsh but necessary end to an EP that aims to snap listeners out of manufactured distractions and face reality.
