Formed in 2008, the band originally featured members of Acheron and Mouth Of The Architect. They released the Gospel Of Pestilence EP in 2011 before going dormant. The new lineup features founding guitarist Jason Phillips (Acheron) and vocalist Logan Madison, joined by Jeff Wilson (Chrome Waves, ex-Nachtmystium), drummer Zack Simmons (Goatwhore, Acid Bath), and bassist Jon Woodring (Usurper, Bones).

Production and Guest Features

The band engineered the album themselves, with Jeff Wilson handling mixing and mastering. Sulphur includes guest appearances from Nate Garnett (Skeletonwitch), Sonny Reinhardt (Necrot), and Ben Falgoust (Goatwhore, Soilent Green).

“Back in 2010, I found myself out of my full-time band, my long-term relationship, and my home within the span of a few days… Jason was the only person kind enough to give me a place to stay while I got back on my feet,” says guitarist Jeff Wilson. “We recorded the first BRINGERS OF DISEASE demo during that time. I’m glad to see myself back in it fifteen years later.”

A visualizer for the track “Sacred Heart Of The Abyss” is available now, along with digital preorders via Bandcamp. The album will be available on LP and digital formats through Disorder Recordings, with a cassette version coming via So Below Productions.
