London metallic hardcore crew Negative Frame just dropped their latest single and video, “New Lows.” This track hits hard, a crushing barrage of riffs and breakdowns exploring themes of endless suffering.
Vocalist Kesari Gorin commented on the track: “Life is a roll of the dice, it’s suffocating and can close in on you. The hole can always get deeper, there is always a new low to sink to.”
Negative Frame is set to release their debut album in 2026, with more news coming soon.

Formed in 2017, London’s Negative Frame emerged from the city’s DIY underground, fusing groove-heavy riffs, thrash intensity, and punishing breakdowns. Originally brought together through skating and college life, the band quickly gained a reputation for their raw, high-impact approach.
Drawing influence from acts like Acid Bath, Disembodied, and Lamb of God, their music focuses on dense, groove-led structures and visceral, emotionally charged vocals. From early DIY tours to sharing stages with hardcore heavyweights, Negative Frame has built a reputation on relentless live energy and a deep connection to the UKHC scene. Their earlier releases and material, including the Mercy Killing EP and singles like ‘Bad Blood,’ show a band evolving into a heavier, more intricate force while staying true to hardcore’s communal chaos.
Negative Frame are pushing UK hardcore into darker, more aggressive territory. The current lineup is:
- Kesari Gorin – Vocals
- Olly Coyne – Lead Guitar
- George Evil – Guitar
- Mark Maccutchan – Bass
- Luke Walker – Drums
